Along with confirming the name of the model, Wong also teased some of the special specifications and features of the upcoming Realme P4 Power 5G, giving a hint of what buyers can expect from him before the official announcement of the device.

The Realme P4 Power 5G is being offered as a battery-centric smartphone. According to the company, this device can last 1.5 days on a single charge and will weigh about 218 grams. Realme also claims that even if the battery level drops to 10 percent, the phone is able to maintain a stable frame rate while keeping the temperature under control.

In addition, the smartphone is about to launch with bypass charging support, a feature that is intended to reduce heat buildup during prolonged gaming or heavy use when plugged in. The Realme P4 power 5G has also been confirmed to offer 27W reverse charging, so that it can also serve as a power source for another device.

A leak from tipster debyan Rai on X reveals that the device will have a 45 mAh battery with 10,000w fast wired charging. It can get a Mediatek Dimensity 7300 or 7400 chipset, while the body will get an IP69 rating for dust and water resistance. As for optics, it can have a triple rear camera setup with a 50MP primary sensor, along with an 8MP sensor and a 2MP sensor. On the front, there can be a 16MP sensor for selfies and video calls.

Finally, the device will have a curved back panel, a plastic frame and an AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate.

Based on leaks, we expect the handset to cost around Rs 25,000, but remember that this is a tentative figure. More official (or leaked) details about the handset should come out as we are approaching the Realme P4 Power 5G India launch, which could happen before the end of January.

In terms of display and performance, Realme claims that the phone will stay at its maximum refresh rate instead of falling to 60Hz to save power, as many phones do in everyday use. The company also says that the phone offers a stable frame rate and stays cool even if the battery level drops to around 10 percent. These claims suggest that the focus is on consistent performance rather than small gusts of speed.

One claim that stands out the most is the promise of “8 years of longevity.” Realme hasn’t said exactly what this means, but it could be related to battery health, durability, or overall lifespan. Buyers will need clear details before taking this claim at face value.
